Subject Champions - these are changed termly and reflect a child's contribution to the subject area or writing or reading, with one child for each aspect per year. Autumn term 25- Dylan R (Y3), Isabel A (Y4), Noah G (Y5) and Tyron J (y6).

English is a compulsory lesson for all primary school pupils, and it's taught daily. The subject is split into three main areas:

• reading;
• writing;
